The Academy of Court Reporting & Technology and The Academy of Court Reporting:

The Academy was founded in Cleveland in 1970: since then it has added a campus in Clawson. From 1970 to 1984, the Academy built a national reputation for producing outstanding court reporters and placing them throughout the United States. In 1984, because of the increasing demand for qualified paralegals and legal secretaries, the Academy expanded its vision to include these areas. In 2001, the growth and need for investigative and security specialists pointed the Academy toward the development and implementation of its Security & Investigation program.

Due to the demand for medical training, ACRT (Cleveland) expanded into the medical and business field.
